India’s Chandrayaan-3 successfully lands on the Moon
Chandrayaan-3 launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota Range (SDSC SHAR), India, on 14 July 2023 on a mission to demonstrate new technologies and to achieve India’s first soft landing on another celestial body.
The spacecraft arrived in lunar orbit on 5 August. On 17 August, the lander module separated from the propulsion module and soon after began its descent to the surface.

New CryoSat data to boost understanding of the oceans
A new CryoSat sea level anomaly product designed to enable ocean science and the development of operational marine applications has been released.
The dataset – presented in the Nature Research journal Scientific Data and currently available for download – provides a unique perspective on ocean surface levels.

ALOS PRISM L1C European Coverage Cloud Free data collection now available for users
The ALOS PRISM L1C European Coverage Cloud Free data collection is now available for research purposes.
This collection is composed of a subset of ALOS-1 PRISM (Panchromatic Remote-sensing Instrument for Stereo Mapping) OB1 L1C products from the already offered ALOS PRISM L1C collection which opened to users at the beginning of this year.
